One of the most enchanting islands on earth, Saint Lucia seems to have been designed for romance. Its lush mountainous interior, filled with hummingbirds and cascading waterfalls, combined with palm fringed coves and warm azure waters create a magical backdrop for any occasion. This tropical paradise is further enhanced by a charming people and fascinating history.

As well as relaxing in the sun, we understand that most guests want to experience as much of our beautiful island as possible. We have therefore reviewed and edited the dozens of tour options available, and are delighted to recommend some to you, which in our opinion offer great value and will show you the best of St Lucia

Tour options:









Sunset Cruise
            5pm– 7 pm                

A wonderful evening out on the majestic old ship “Brig Unicorn” – dancing to the sound of steel band music while you sip champagne or rum punch, nibble canapés, and watch the sun set over the Caribbean Sea.

Day Sail to Soufriere          8:30am– 4:30 pm       

After sailing to Soufriere you will visit the botanical gardens and drive-in volcano, snorkel in the marine national park, lunch is served onboard and on your sail back to Rodney Bay you will see Marigot Bay.

Whale / Dolphin watching                    8am–1pm  

A wonderful half-day in search of these awesome creatures – no guarantees, but with 85% of trips recording sightings, the chances are you will not be disappointed.

Atlantic Coast Horse riding  Any day - 2hrs by appointment     

A great way to see the rugged Atlantic coast, culminating in a bareback ride in the sea!

Piton Climb        

Pick up by boat/taxi from Rodney Bay taken to the boat, which will take you down to Anse la Voine, at the base of the Gros Piton. Climb the mountain with a trained guide with resting stops on you way. Enjoy the view on top of the pike and take pictures. Lunch on the beach and swimming. Boat ride back to marina.

Jeep Safari                                 8am – 12pm          

Tour on land rover jeep passing the Castries market, Governors house viewing point, off road drive across banana plantations, small rivers and through the rainforest, local fruit tasting, rain forest walk with waterfall, maybe a quick stop for swimming in a close by bay, Anse La Raye, Marigot Bay, back to Villa Capri.

Rainforest Sky Rides

Discover the natural wonders of St. Lucia’s Rainforest on the Rainforest Sky Rides located in the interior of St. Lucia. A fascinating eco tour with a unique birds eye view form the open-air gondolas of the abundant life in the tropical canopy. A nature guide will accompany you on your ride and explain the flora and fauna of the St. Lucian Rainforest. Take a walking tour on our nature walk or stop at the hummingbird Café for a snack.

This tour is a great adventure for the entire family and can also be taken by persons with limited mobility.

Rain Forest Canopy Adventure Tour   

Although this ride does not demand physical ability, the adrenaline rush is like no other. 
It is a rocket ride 30 ft. to 50 ft. off the forest floor on 500 ft. runs of cables suspended between platforms.  The course is a system of integrated cables and rigging carefully designed to deliver a thrill safely.  Between zips there is plenty of time for a unique view of the forest, the birds, and plants that inhibit it. We have a Rainforest Canopy Adventure Tour, which is fun for the whole family, and it is a Caribbean memory you will talk about long after your holiday is over.

Deep Sea Fishing      

Go deep-sea fishing on one of the many motorboats with an experienced crew. Fish for yellow fin tuna , marlin etc depending on season. Back at12:00pm. Beer and soft drinks included

Places you can explore independently


Pigeon Island National Park  – A 3 km walk (or 5 minute taxi ride!) from Villa Capri. Spend a lazy day in this beautiful National Trust Park – with 2 good bars/ restaurants, showers, secluded beaches, historic ruins and the old fort. Stunning views from Signal Hill over Martinique and St Lucia. Entrance fee!

Castries market and duty free shopping –Take a taxi or drive with your ental car to the markets on Castries Waterfront.  A small ferry can take you to the other side of the harbour, to Pointe Seraphine – the Islands largest duty free shopping complex. Don’t forget you passport and airline ticket – so that you qualify for duty free prices.

Gros Islet street party

The celebration of another weekend! Cheap drinks and reasonable BBQ food are sold by vendors in the main street of this traditional fishing village, against a background of carnival tunes and Caribbean Music.

Snorkeling – We are lucky enough to have some of the best snorkeling in St Lucia right on our doorstep – at our 2 nearest beaches – “Anse du Cap”, 200m down the hill and “Smugglers cove” – a 5 minute walk.
